I’ll talk about some troubleshooting problems later on, but just know that your humidity fluctuates. Run your incubator without any eggs for a few days to make sure that all is holding steady. These are normal numbers for hatching chicken eggs. The temperature reading should hold steady at 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit and the humidity should be around 60% humidity. Then, pour some water in to get the humidity up to normal. So you need to get it all put together and plugged in without the eggs in it to make sure that it’s working properly. Once you get your incubator and turning method, you need to get it all set up and make sure it runs properly. I’ve done both ways and both are just fine. You can simply turn eggs a few times a day.
